Welcom to Envoy...
What is it?
Envoy is a client data retrieval utility, which is launched from the RSM McGladrey website. Envoy is a wizard style application designed to assist you in delivering your data to us. There is never a need to install or upgrade Envoy. Each time you launch Envoy it checks for the most current version is automatically loaded to your computer.
What should I know?
If you are connecting to the internet over a modem, Envoy may seem a bit slow. Envoy does cache the application files on your machine, so if there is no change to the application it does not need to download the files again. The first time you launch Envoy you may be prompted to run or cancel Envoy. Choose to run Envoy and it should not ask you again when ran from that PC. The application is designed to do what it can to be sensitive to performance issues. Only the modules that are required are brought down from the website and all files that are sent back to the server are compressed and encrypted before sending.
What do I need to do?
You must be using Internet Explorer 6 or greater, and the .Net framework 2.0 must be installed on the computer. If you keep up with your Windows Updates these requirements should not be an issue.
